Kenneth Mejia : The political revolution continues

I am 26 years old, born and raised in Sylmar, California, currently residing in LA Koreatown. I'm no politician — I'm just a compassionate and motivated human being trying to make the world a better place.

I am the only Green Party candidate in the race for Congressional District 34. If elected, I would be the first Green in Congress.

I stand for healthcare for all, legal status for all immigrants, and a country powered by 100% clean renewable energy.

It's time YOU had a VOICE. Join us!

#SB562 (Single Payer in CA) Canvassing Anthony Rendon's District

When: Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 10:00 AM
    Where: Starbucks in Lakewood, CA

From Healthcare for ALL - Los Angeles:

Single Payer fighters! We'll use a Starbucks in Rendon's district as a staging area for canvassing and spreading the word about SB 562. First timers welcome, it's easy and fun! We will have multiple teams going out throughout the day, so stop by any time you can!

S.B. 562, The Healthy California Act, will guarantee high-quality healthcare to all Californians. But first it has to get a vote in the State Assembly's Health Committee. Assemblymember Anthony Rendon, Speaker of the Assembly, needs to hear from constituents ASAP. Join other Healthy California supporters to knock on some doors and spread the Healthy California message in Speaker Rendon's Southeast LA County district!

We'll have two shifts going out:10am-2pm and 12pm-4pm. There will be a debriefing at the beginning of each shift so you can answer constituents' questions about the bill. Come for as long or short as you can. Reed Heisley-Shellaby will be at the Starbucks with fliers, petitions, and a list of suggested locations.
